Small Cars will Reduce Insurance Premiums

The British Insurance Association (BIBA) suggested Young Drivers to buy small cars to cut down on insurance cost. By choosing a low performance car, the insurance industry advices that it could help reduce the cost of potential premiums for their cars.
Head of technical services at BIBA, Peter Staddon says that new drivers who have recently passed the test can do with a car that has a small engine than one which has a large engine. The primary concern of a new driver is to understand the road rather than driving a powerful car.
A small car would help new drivers to accumulate no-claims bonus and that is what BIBA encourages to all young motorists. A recent study by Co-operative Insurance reveals that average insurance car premium for UK motorists under the age of 25 have risen to £1,463.
