Virgin Comprehensive Car Insurance -
This insurance provides cover for all the aspect of car. There is protection from theft, fire or when broken into or stolen. Courtesy car while car is being repaired.
Third party fire and theft -
Car Insurance pays for damages caused by fire or if stolen. Damage to car or repairs should be borne by the insurer.
Third party only -
Damages caused to other people’s property by the policyholder.
No claims discount -
If there is a year or more than one year of no claims then the insurer can avail no claims discount. 4 years of no claims can be protected.
Motor Legal Protection -
This pays for costs incurred in a road accident, which is not the fault of the insurer. Even policy excess and hire car costs can be recovered. It also covers for drivers and passengers traveling
Breakdown Cover -
This includes roadside range and home start which is provided by Green Flag Motoring services at a very cheap rate of only £69.30 a year. Cover includes replacement of car within an hour. Repairs will be fixed on spot if possible or car will be towed to garage and courtesy car will be provided for onward journey.

Policy renewals can be done manually or automatically. Notice will be given 3 to 4 weeks before renewal date. It will contain premium information and breakdown cover.
Automatic renewal is set up at the beginning of the policy and you get continuous cover. Manual cover requires the insurer to call the insurance company for renewal of policy.
Virgin has the option to pay the policy in lump sum or in monthly installments. There is no additional charge for paying monthly. Payments are accepted through credit cards, debit cards or through direct debit.
Discount when you already have other insurance
If you are already holding any policy with Virgin like home, pet or travel insurance you can avail a discount of 10% on car insurance. You will have to inform Virgin at the time of taking the insurance.
