Online Database to Help Van Insurance Customers make the Right Choice
If you are a Van Insurance customer and wish to purchase commercial vehicles based on factors like carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption, then you can benefit from the newly introduced online service of the Vehicle Certification Agency, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders or SMMT and the Department for Transport. The database aims at sketching the best commercial vehicles for emissions and consumption to strengthen the decision making process of purchase. Transport secretary, Andrew Adnois said that it is crucial for customers to make the right choice. He also added that the database is good for van consumers as it provides them with information on emission and fuel consumption. SMMT also noted that van insurance customers are reluctant to opt for new vehicles and are going in fo second-hand vehicles.
