Claim lines are open all 24 hours throughout 265 days of the year. There is separate claim advice helpline available. During office hours if claims are made then the policyholder I put on to a claims adviser who informs the policyholder whether he is cover. Outside office hours the emergency helpline adviser helps in taking details and passes on the information to the registration team.
In event of claims Nationwide helps by appointing tradesmen to complete repairs, appoint loss advisor to complete assessment and thereby helping the policyholder.
