Kwik Fit Insurance initiates measures on road safety
Road safety is not only high on the minds of the government, but in the UK even insurance companies like Kwik Fit Insurance is making an effort to raise awareness on road safety among its people. Kwik Fit Insurance is organizing a week long awareness program among its 950 strong workforce for its Lanarkshire office. Among many activities, the company has installed a speed motoring sign on the main road leading to the office at Lanarkshire. Concerns of over-speeding by vehicles inside the business park where the office of the Kwik Fit is situated is of prime concern. This awareness program hopes to educate people on various dangers on the road. A mock driving test will also be organized for nominated team members, directors and managers. To highlight the effects of drunken driving, an alcohol driving day will also be organized where motorists would be asked to drive wearing beer goggles. Young children will also not be left behind in this road safety awareness program and a day known as Beep Beep Day will try to educate children on various road safety measures. Case studies, manuals and DVDs on road safety will also be available throughout the week. The director of Kwik Fit proudly announces different campaigns on road safety programmes. It is also a sponsor of a similar event on road safety. Their main focus would be to generate public awareness on road safety across a wide spectrum of people including new learners, children, or even a seasoned driver.
