Churchill Car Insurance offering free Breakdown Cover for Women
Churchill car insurance is offering women drivers who do not have sufficient knowledge on how to keep their cars in best working condition or have limited knowledge on how to fix it if anything goes wrong with a free Breakdown Cover. A latest research from Churchill car insurance shows that unlike men, women have less knowledge about car parts and maintenance.
Women hardly carry out routine checks on their cars that help them run smoothly. Since these women drivers can find themselves in a spot if anything goes wrong in the middle of the road, the free breakdown cover offered by Churchill car insurance can be of a great help to them. Only five per cent of women car owners say that they are ‘car experts’ compared to a whopping 28 per cent of men. Only 10 per cent of men however claim that they have limited or no knowledge of how to keep cars in healthy condition like identifying windscreen washer fluid levels compared to almost one third of women who have hardly any basic knowledge of car maintenance.
Churchill’s survey also reveals that 12 per cent of women would call their family member or friend to help them in the event of a breakdown in the middle of the road compared to only five per cent of men who would do the same. Claire Foster of Churchill car insurance says that women are not much knowledgeable about their cars as compared to their male counterparts.
