  • Use
    • Social, domestic & Pleasure – S, D&P allows cover for driving your family and friends for shopping.
    • Business use - This allows cover for driving your car in connection with your business or profession.
    • Commuting- This allows cover for driving to workplace from home.
    • Commercial travelling - This allows cover for the car to be used for commercial activity.

  • Underwriter : A person who calculates the premium amount based on the risk profile and driving history of the driver.

  • Under-insurance : Insuring your car for an amount which is lesser than its original worth. Example- when the car worth £12,000 is insured for £8,000 it is called under-insured.

  • ULR cover : Uninsured loss recovery –Legal expenses cover, which you can add on to your car insurance policy. Uninsured losses – Things not covered under your car insurance policy.

  • Underwriter : A person who calculates the premium amount based on the risk profile and driving history of the driver
