OVER SPEEDING CAN COST YOU YOUR INSURANCE
Several motorists may find it difficult to obtain cheap comprehensive Car Insurance cover in the future after being nabbed by the police for over speeding. Police officers from the Thames Valley force cautioned almost 20 motorists traveling quite fast on Tidmarsh Road in Pangbourne and Halls Road in Telehurst.
These areas were targeted after the police received complaints from the local people. The motorists found guilty of breaking speed limits received three points on their licenses and £60 as fines. However, the police offered some motorists of roadside education or a speed awareness programme.
A motorist who did not have a car insurance certificate or a license would have their cars seized by the police and had to appear in court. PC Weal from Thames Valley police said that such roadside education and enforcement would continue till the people learnt the over speeding is totally unacceptable.
