UK Motorists Choosing Green Car Insurance
A latest survey suggested that many people are opting for green Car Insurance just showing how much UK drivers are getting environmentally conscious. The survey conducted by an Auto Trader showed that more than fifty per cent of UK motorists plan to buy a carbon-efficient vehicle when they upgrade it next. About 61% of the respondents said that cars having high level of emissions should be taxed more than what they are being taxed now.
John Buckley, managing director of Carbon Footprint said that the trend among buyers now is to look for levels of carbon emission and miles per gallon than anything else. Not only are these motorists concerned about the environment but also realise that these cars are cost effective as well. If such a trend continues, it implies that more people would be opting for green car insurance.
