Looking for Cheaper Insurance - Get a Bike

In times of recession, more and more people are switching to bikes from four wheelers. During recession, the Post Office is promoting several Bike Insurance policies for bike owners who are swapping their four wheelers with two wheelers.

The fuel efficiency for two wheelers is better than that of a bike or moped and that is precisely the reason for people going for a bike than car. However, the fact also remains that bikes are nippier and easier to move around than a car. In a recent survey by Post Office found that almost 4.8 million, nearly 13 per cent of the UK drivers are open to giving up their cars for two wheelers.

Richard Pennant-Jones, head of general insurance for the Post Office said that mopeds and bikes help reduce insurance cost which is important during recession times. Post Office Motorcycle Insurance is therefore offering exciting insurance policies for bike users.
