Atlas Travel Insurance
Atlas travel insurance is a travel insurance meant to cover most of the medical and other travel related expenses which come up unexpectedly. There are some benefits, limitations, exclusions and optional benefits with this insurance company. Hospital room and board are available but the room is limited to average semi-private including nursing services. The usual reasonable and customary charges are applicable for local ambulance. Hospital Indemnity costs 100 dollars per day which is covered in travel insurance. Intensive care unit is also covered under Atlas Travel Insurance policy provided that the charges are usual, reasonable and customary. Outpatient treatment also falls under this kind of insurance where usual, reasonable and customary charges are included. Acute onset of pre-existing conditions is also included with 25,000 dollars lifetime limit for emergency medical evacuation. 15,000 dollars is the limit observed for lifetime for eligible medical expenses. Physical therapy has a limit of 50 dollars per visit while all other eligible medical expenses covered have set usual, reasonable and customary charges as their limit.
Emergency dental covers acute onset of pain. 100 dollars is the limit per certificate period which is not subject to deductible or coinsurance. Accident have overall maximum limit. Emergency medical evacuation has maximum lifetime limit of 500,000 dollars. Emergency reunion has a limit of 15,000 dollars per certificate period. Atlas travel insurance also takes care of important but often neglected events like return of minor children. There is at least 5000 dollars limit per certificate period. Political evacuation is also taken care of in the policy with the limit of 10,000 dollars. There are many other things covered in Atlas Insurance policy like terrorism, accidental death and dismemberment, common carrier accidental death, repatriation of remains, natural disaster benefit, trip interruption, lost checked luggage, hospital pre-certification penalty etc. One can opt for an additional sports rider.
