More than 90% of claims are paid out by the company meaning the claim settlement ratio is very high here. Yearly premium can be distributed monthly at no extra cost. One can choose from at least three kinds of levels of protection one is seeking. Silver plan is up to 2,500 pounds. Gold plan is up to 4,000 pounds of vet fees. Platinum plan is up to 7,000 vet fees per year. Silver and gold plan cover 12 months from the start of illness or injury. Platinum plan covers lifetime of illnesses and injuries without any limit to the length of treatment.
Medical examination taken before the cover and the conditions diagnosed thereafter are excluded in the policy. On policy-holders’ side it is expected that the policy is renewed each year and the payments are kept up to date. There is a provision of separate Argos Insurance premiums for cats and dogs. Cat silver cover starts from 3.95 pounds a month while dog silver cover starts from 7.31 pounds per month. Veterinary fees, third party liability, death from illness and accident, advertising and reward, theft and straying, boarding of kennel or cattery fees, loss of healthcare certificate, accidental damage, holiday cancellation costs and quarantine costs are covered in Argos pet insurance.
